Finding Joy in Snarkville

It has been what, a whole week that I’ve mocked my mother’s club.  However, this series of e-mails are SO worthy.

I’d write notes, but these are too good and completely stand on their own.

E-mail number One:

How blond did the builders think I was?!:
We have a cabinet w/ a sticker, on the inside of the door, that actually tells us, it’s a “Certified Cabinet”.
So glad they thought to tell me.  I might have thought it was a table!  I really hadn’t been 100% positive that it was a cabinet, until Today, when I noticed the sticker, at 5am.
Actually, the sticker is just one of those things, that tells us something about the quality of the wood, or something, but that info. is in tiny print, and the words “Certified Cabinet” are really what stand out.

E-mail number Two:

Hmmm, I suppose this comment could be taken the wrong way, and I’m sorry, because in my still very sleepy and adled state, I am beginning to understand, in a bleary way, that I’ve stuck my foot in it, yet again.
Please fellow blond Moms and others, accept the joke, in the spirit in which it was aired, and forget the opening comment, which I made in my half sleep, and fighting off a cold.
