Join Me in Snarkville

I’m not sure if I should announce this or not, but since everyone knows I’m headed off on a cruise and will probably be looking for the inevidiable list of things I’ve done to make people laugh at me. I have pre-written a few things for your enjoyment before I leave. While I truly hope to scope out a signal long enough to post some real cruise updates, I’ll be writing the whole week and will upload as I get the chance.

Today’s post are things that amuse me today that are probably not that funny:

• We have an ice cream man who drives down our FrankenStreet several times a day(an amazingly nearly always right before dinner time). In Duke’s short lifetime, we’ve never bought anything from the ice cream man, yet he calls out whenever he hears the song “Ice Cream Man!!! Ice Cream Man!!!” So, Prince asks Duke, “Who is the ice cream man?” Silence from Duke. “Is it a man made of ice cream?” Duke: “Oh, yes, Daddy.”
• For reasons I don’t get, my son was singing a song I didn’t know he knew — the theme to Batman, followed by the song “I like Candy” Um, where did he get these? School. I want to know when they stopped teaching Astro-physics to indulge this music lesson.
• It is raining outside and we’ve spent a lazy day today. Duke is looking outside, after spending the whole day in his PJs and announces, “It’s raining. I need my raincoat, my umbrella, and my rain boots.”  Anyone want to guess how long it takes to reason with a 3 year old that no, since you have not gotten out of your PJs all day today, you really have no need for your rain boots?
