Things I don’t get…
Just having come back from yet another trip, I have questions that I don’t get or think are totally unfair.
1. Why does it take 4 hours to fly east and 6 hours to fly west?
2. How is it possible to need twice the normal amount of sleep just because you are traveling when you really want to see people?
3. Why do you wear twice the number of normal clothing when away? The laundry alone is not fair.
4. How can a cat with no thumbs have the ability to take ornaments off the tree?
5. Why is it I am so lame that I left the pattern I was working on in the rental car when we turned it in? Oh, and the magazine is sold out.
6. Why do our cats think that our return is cause for a party and thus had night crazies at 5am after we went to bed at 2am?

My cats do the same thing — I think they sleep more during the day while I’m away and are thus very frisky at night without repercussions until I come back.

You’re the one that wrote that knittalk (or was it knitlist) post asking for the pattern? Or did two of you do that exact same thing with their pattern? Tis the season, or something, I guess. Wish I had a copy for you, although, Warren might?
My father-in-law used to put the plug-ugliest Christmas ornaments on the tree, my husband says, including one disfigured jack o lantern one. For Christmas. My in-laws did ornament battles by putting ones they didn’t like but the other did on the bottom of the tree, so that the Siamese cat, when it went crazy, would break them. Which it did for them, frequently, and even managed to knock the tree over a few times.

Actually, that is pretty complicated. There are winds, atmosphere, time settings. And they are all controlled by a fella named Bob in a remote building located someplace in Arkansas. Really, you don’t want to know any more than that.
Oddly enough, this is because of the same reason as #1, except it’s a fella named Gus and he is working from the back room of a Waffle House Texas.

LOL! This is why I don’t put up a tree. Zipper would have it dismantled and demolished before my back was turned.

Try some Rescue Remedy. Send me a note & I’ll tell you where to find it. It’s worked well on Zipper since he fell out the window. Long story.
