Opinion time….

February 27th, 2008

I bound off the body of the sweater.  I blocked half the body.  I’m 85% sure that this sweater will look and hang better in a larger size, even if there is a FIVE inch difference in the two sizes.  This is where you come in….

Which do I do…

  1. Continue on, trusting that should it not fit me, I have MANY friends who would love it and it would fit.
  2. Rip it out and try again — knowing in my heart that this would also allow me to add three inches to the length because frankly I think the cropped sweater look went out in the 80’s, right?

No, there are no photos.. sorry.

  1. Oh, go for it. Rip, rip, rip - it’s good for the soul. And add the 3″ - though the cropped look has come back, it is flattering on exactly 2% of the population and they are all 6′ tall and weigh 100 lbs.

  2. Totally want the photo but…rip. Otherwise, you will NEVER wear it.

  3. Rip it…

Can you do lunch tomorrow? Call or email me. :)

  4. Go for eeeet! :) You’ll be happier in the long run.

  5. Question 1: Is it small enough to fit me? :)

    If No, then rip.

(I love taking one for the team.)

  6. Rip that baby. It’s better to make the right size — maybe you’ll need to interpolate (ooh, big math word) between the two sizes to make something in-between?

  7. If it’s too big for Jasmin and too small for you, hey, there! I can help! Besides, if you’ve finished the body, you can stop right there, add ribbing to the armholes, and call it a vest.
