Opinion time….
February 27th, 2008I bound off the body of the sweater. I blocked half the body. I’m 85% sure that this sweater will look and hang better in a larger size, even if there is a FIVE inch difference in the two sizes. This is where you come in….
Which do I do…
- Continue on, trusting that should it not fit me, I have MANY friends who would love it and it would fit.
- Rip it out and try again — knowing in my heart that this would also allow me to add three inches to the length because frankly I think the cropped sweater look went out in the 80’s, right?
No, there are no photos.. sorry.

Oh, go for it. Rip, rip, rip - it’s good for the soul. And add the 3″ - though the cropped look has come back, it is flattering on exactly 2% of the population and they are all 6′ tall and weigh 100 lbs.

Totally want the photo but…rip. Otherwise, you will NEVER wear it.

Question 1: Is it small enough to fit me?
If No, then rip.
(I love taking one for the team.)

Rip that baby. It’s better to make the right size — maybe you’ll need to interpolate (ooh, big math word) between the two sizes to make something in-between?

If it’s too big for Jasmin and too small for you, hey, there! I can help! Besides, if you’ve finished the body, you can stop right there, add ribbing to the armholes, and call it a vest.
