Why didn’t someone warn me??

Yes, I’m looking for someone to blame.  It appears that since turning 35 in September, I’m falling apart.

Yesterday, I am pretty sure I broke toe.  Not my big toe, but the one next to it.  And you want to know what highly difficult move I was doing when I think I broke my toe?

WALKING.  Yup, I stumbled when I was walking (over some random cords on the floor) and I tripped a little.

Poise and grace I tell you.  Just full of Poise and Grace.

(Now off to decide if I really need to *DO* anything about my probably broken toe.)

I break about a toe a year. Usually there is nothing they can do for it but tape it to the one next to it.

Usually, I try to wear shoes (yes shoes, not sandals) that have wide toe area and try to keep it from getting re-injured as it heals.

You will be surprises how many times someone steps on your foot during this time.

Ah yes, I remember all too well. Unless it’s got a funny piece sticking out, then about the only thing to do is tape it. Make sure to put some cotton between the toes you tape together, or they will chafe something awful. And Sarah is right – you’ll bump it or have it stepped on a zillion times between now and the time it feels better.

What they said. Hopefully your husband isn’t a 6′8″ klutz like mine.

If you look at it and it looks straight/normal, save your time and aggravation. The most likely to be done is taping it to the one nevt to it. If it really hurts I would recommend this as it does help when there is that icky twinge when you walk on it. Otherwise, it is all a matter of time. Maybe you need strict bed rest?
